Hypnobirthing in Hertfordshire
Welcome to Brighter Birthing Hypnobirthing and congratulations on your pregnancy.
We offer Hypnobirthing and birth classes from Tring in West Herts. We’re easily reached from Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.
At Brighter Birthing we believe that with the right knowledge and understanding, you can help make your birth a positive and enjoyable experience. Quite literally birthing brighter!
We offer Private Hypnobirthing classes from the comfort of your home. Group Hypnobirthing classes allow you to meet other local mums-to-be and grow your support network. This is crucial when you have a little one. We also run a free post-natal coffee morning once a month. For details please visit our facebook page.
I trained in KG Hypnobirthing. They are accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. The course is a complete antenatal programme which can run alongside NCT classes or will work just as well as a stand-alone course.
I’ve since switched to The Calm Birth School method, which I feel offers a more positive and realistic view about your birth.
I will let you into a secret, my passion isn’t babies, it is mothers. I meet mums-to-be in my classes who are full of anxiety and worry. Yet, I see them leave smiling, confident, calm and actually looking forward to their birth. This is why I teach Hypnobirthing! Birth doesn’t have to be something to be feared.
Booking a pregnancy or birth class is a deeply personal choice. If you would like more information or you would like to chat to me personally, then please get in touch so we can arrange a suitable time.
Hypnobirthing Courses
The Hypnobirthing courses I offer work on growing your confidence and self-belief. They help to remove fear and anxiety that can grow from hearing other peoples birth stories or your previous experience. We use guided relaxations, breathing techniques and massage. These ensure you can be comfortable throughout your pregnancy. It also means you can tap into that calm during your baby’s birth.
I have a science background, so we spend a lot of time talking about your birthing body. We look at how to boost your birth hormones, as well as discussing the positions that will work best for you. I place a lot of focus in understanding your options – both medical and natural.
HYPNOBIRTHING CLASSES IN HERTFORDSHIRE
Private Hypnobirthing courses and refresher classes are taught from the comfort of your own home.
Hypnobirthing doesn’t mean drug-free. The techniques can work just as well for a caesarean birth too. I actually offer a course specifically for parents who are planning an elective caesarean birth. Please follow this link.
Group courses are taught from my home in Tring – a quick 10 minute walk from the town centre and local shops. There is free parking just outside. Also, my teaching room offers a comfortable home from home space so you can relax easily.
